Construction Project Manager
Growing domestic construction and renovation company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee all phases of projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills to manage teams, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to meet project plans and timelines
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and subcontractors
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources and inventory of materials and equipment
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors on site
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to Australian Standards, safety protocols and a good understanding of AS1428

The applicant must have experience working on projects for people with disabilities and the elderly. Must have a current Police Check and Working With Children Check.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Construction, Licenced Builder
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and project management principles
- Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
