We are currently seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function of our iconic manufacturing plant in Botany.  Providing the strategic direction for the maintenance function, including the management of Stores, you will ensure the maintenance strategies and initiatives continue to evolve to drive reliable performance and results and are in line with local and global maintenance trends.    
A taste of what you’ll be doing:
•    Direct and control all facets of plant maintenance activities (including workshop and shift maintenance) to achieve maintenance KPIs
•    Design and implement Preventative Maintenance Strategy to assure maximum utilization of company assets.
•    Plan and directs the team to manage the maintenance resources and activities during plant shutdown, within the planned maintenance budget.
•    Analyse plant equipment reliability and performance with the aid of software to improve overall plant equipment reliability.  
•    Management of the service labour contract & people provided by an external service labour provider. 
•    Responsible for leading and embedding our global lean manufacturing model (KWS) ways of working and supporting the other KWS COE teams
•    People management – working closely with individual team members to drive accountability and partner with them on their development journeys 
Your recipe for success:
•    Degree qualified in Engineering or similar OR experience gained in Maintenance Management with a trade certificate in either Mechanical or Electrical, coupled with a strong track record of success in a similar role within the FMCG manufacturing industry
•    Comfortable in managing and setting budgets
•    Experience gained in plant reliability, engineering stores, facilities management
•    A strong planning background
•    Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
•    Good with data – can interpret reports and use data to guide decisions and insights 
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Advanced problem solving skills, a pro-active approach and results oriented
•    A people manager with the ability to lead a team to deliver successful results, someone who can inspire a team to look to the future of maintenance
