Based in Salisbury South, as our Property & Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Property and Maintenance Manager with the delivery of quality, timely and responsive gardening and Maintenance support services to Home Care customers.
The Property & Maintenance Team Leader provide an oversight and leadership to the gardening & maintenance staff across metropolitan Adelaide Helping Hand community and Housing Sites.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Providing a contact point for the Property and Maintenance teams ensuring a high level of customer service and supportive guidance to the gardening and Maintenance Teams as well as other stakeholders.
- Assisting in the efficient and effect delivery of the Asset Management plan in line with Strategic objectives, ensuring effective facilities and Maintenance management of Helping hand housing facilities and clients.
- Collaborating with the leadership team to create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and a commitment to doing things right.
- Monitoring, maintaining and participating in safety systems that encourage teams in driving safety and awareness such as ensure formal risk assessments are conducted, hazards are closed, incidents investigated.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business administration, People Management/ Leadership (Cert 3 min) or relevant industry experience.
- Experience managing maintenance and or grounds/gardening teams
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively with a broad range of people including residents, staff, industry and colleagues and the general community in a professional manner and positively promote the organisation.
- Computer proficiency in the operation of MS Office software and internet technologies and WH&S knowledge and skills.
- Current driver’s licence
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
- Strong understanding of service delivery frameworks and service modelling.
- Experience managing building works/projects including refurbishments and new constructions is highly regarded
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement principles
Salary Range : $80,000 to $85,000 (Plus Super), depending on experience
