The Hotel is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting to General Manager
- Regular maintenance of Hotel rooms and general public areas which may include patching, painting, carpentry, plumbing and minor electrical works
- Testing and tagging of appliances
- Supervise contracted maintenance
- Reporting any safety issues and fix as required
- Contribute to maintenance of the overall property presentation
- Be able to work independently/unsupervised and as part of a team
The be successful for this position you must be able to demonstrate;
- Knowledge and experience in general building repair, painting, plumbing and minor electrical work
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze problems and identify a solution
- A trade qualification is desirable although not necessary
- Forklift license\drivers license
- Previous hotel maintenance experience advantageous although not required
- Clear understanding of all things WHS related
The role requires the successful candidates to potentially work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
