About the Role
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance function across all Repurpose It sites. This position plays a critical role in leading and embedding a preventative maintenance and spare parts system to maximise fixed and mobile plant uptime, managing budget and associated costs as well as prolonging asset life for all assets at Repurpose It.
Duties will likely include (but not be limited to):
- Leading, motivating and supporting the maintenance team across all sites
- Oversee maintenance functions including mechanical, electrical and automotive
- Manage budgets for the maintenance function
- Establish a governance framework for all maintenance activities at Repurpose It
- Develop, maintain and roll out all maintenance software across the business, including MEX
- Undertake business improvement initiatives to identify cost savings and productivity improvements in the business
- Oversee the management of all mobile plant and fixed assets across the group.
- Procure all mobile plant for RPI in line with business requirements and budget
- Prepare capital plans for approval for the replacement of mobile equipment of mobile plant
- Futureproof spare parts risk assessment reviews and placement of orders to ensure minimum downtime.
- Ensure the timely execution of minor and major shutdowns for all plant and equipment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree or diploma in in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or related field)
- Business management experience in a managing a Maintenance function
- Demonstrated experience in delivering quality driven projects to defined specification and standards
- Site Operations experience (Construction, Manufacturing or Resource Recovery)
- Australian driver’s licence
- Must have rights to work in Australia
