Regis Greenbank
Backing onto bushland, Regis Greenbank Aged Care facility offers a peaceful setting with many alfresco areas and walkways taking in the wildlife and vista. A calming water feature is the focal point of the sunny garden courtyard.
Set in the quiet leafy Brisbane suburb of Greenbank, Regis Greenbank opened its Regis Reserve extension in late 2012. Featuring single and shared rooms with en suites and contemporary furnishings and finishes, all rooms enjoy views of the gardens.
About the role
A position is available for a Maintenance Officer/Gardener to join Regis Greenbank on a part time basis. Previous handyperson & Gardening experience in a similar setting (Residential or Aged Care) will be highly regarded).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Setting up of rooms and equipment, adhering to OH&S guidelines
- Timely reporting
- Grounds upkeep
- Equipment and plant monitoring
- Coordination of the Maintenance program
- Preventative and corrective maintenance duties across the facility
 
Mandatory requirements for all candidates
- Evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*
- Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
- Valid National Police Check
* The Australian Government has advised that all residential Aged Care staff and visiting workers should be vaccinated by 1 May 2020. This includes both current and future Regis employees.
 
Skills & Experience
- Current police clearance
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Occupational Health and Safety knowledge
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage own time
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional Maintenance / Handyperson skills
