The newly built Citadines on Walker, North Sydney, now seeks an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join the Maintenance team as Maintenance Officer. This full-time role will report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with other departments.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Undertake day-to-day and routine maintenance operations, ensuring that effective control, productivity, and safety are maintained.
- Liaise directly with the Maintenance Manager in relation to maintenance issues, brand standards, operating standards and service standards.
- Work closely with the Guest Service team in relation to all Maintenance requirements from guests and staff to ensure a cohesive, knowledgeable, dependable, and efficient level of service is exhibited and always delivered, and a continuous focus on improving service levels.
- Attend emergency breakdowns after hours as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with OHS procedures, maintenance standards, and operating procedures.
- Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure all statutory requirements and company reporting timeframes are met.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with pertinent legislation.
- Professionally represent the company internally and at all industry-related functions if/when required.
Ideally, you must have the following:
- Experience in a similar role/capacity. i.e., hotels, accommodation.
- Technical and manual skills to ensure maintenance standards are operating to their highest level.
- Ability to prioritize multiple task requests and work autonomously.
- High attention to detail, exceptional time management, and multitasking ability.
- Strong communication skills.
