We get that you may be busy with limited time to read the entire job description, so here’s a rundown of the key objectives of the Field Leader - Footpath Maintenance role.
Working as part of the Civil Maintenance team, the Field Leader - Footpath Maintenance will undertake works and lead the team responsible for Footpath Maintenance including works to make footpaths safe, and kerb, gutter and small patchwork repairs. We are looking for someone who thinks proactively about how to meet targets and deadlines in a safe, supportive and responsible environment.
In terms of skills and experience, you will require an MR truck licence, White Card accredited, and be experienced in concreting. As the Field Leader, you will be expected to have a positive mindset to deliver results, and demonstrate knowledge of following standards, policies and safe operating procedures in civil maintenance works. Leading a team, or interest in leading others would be highly regarded, and it is expected you are driven, display initiative, and have sound digital literacy and problem-solving skills.
As a member of the Council’s Field Services Portfolio, all employees and Field Leaders are expected to promote and demonstrate the objectives of safety leadership, operational excellence, customer experience and people experience.
