We are currently seeking a full-time qualified Maintenance Officer to take on a challenging and rewarding position at Regis Fawkner.
The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for providing Maintenance and services to the building, equipment, and grounds.
Regis Fawkner has a profound sense of culture which runs through the entire residence. Our Home is nestled in a local neighbourhood on Major Road in Fawkner and maintains strong links to the community.
A day in the life of a Maintenance Officer may see you:
- Maintaining plant, equipment, building and services.
- Ensure up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with appropriate safety best practice.
- Maintain the grounds in a neat and tidy manner. Identify preventative maintenance requirements, complete the works and documentation of schedules.
- Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and are documented in the relevant registers
What we look for:
- General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills.
- General skills such as painting, maintenance of the grounds, garden beds and knowledge of gardening equipment would be preferred.
- Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
- Excellent customer service manner.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
