We are seeking applications for a part time (3 days p/w) Maintenance Officer, who will work alongside our Maintenance Supervisor and team. This role has the opportunity to grow a full time position.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Maintaining the upkeep of the gardens and facility
- A variety of daily maintenance requirements around the facility, across built environment, equipment, gardens and landscaping and cleaning:
- Promote a positive public image for the Care Centre and the organisation.
- Daily maintenance tasks directed from maintenance requests
- Programmed/scheduled maintenance tasks
- Urgent maintenance and cleaning requests
- Daily collection and management of garbage and recycling.
- Indoor as well as outdoor built and landscaped environment
- Gardening as required.
- Vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning door glass, high pressure cleaning, and cobwebbing.
- Carry out manual handling tasks including assisting other departments with set up for functions and activities.
- Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
