About the Role
There is no BAU to this exciting role. As the Preventative Maintenance Planner, you take a hands on approach to spearhead the planning and execution of preventative and in some instances corrective maintenance work orders in the Cooper Basin and Eastern Queensland District.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our organization. With your keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy, you'll ensure that maintenance tasks are carried out with precision, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
You'll serve as a liaison between internal and external parties, including local authorities and regulators. Your ability to develop, navigate and maintain these relationships will be key to ensuring compliance with company standards and processes.
Key accountabilities include:
- Responsible for initial screening of PM (IMP/RMP) and CM incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning. Engage with engineering as and when required to update changes to BOMs & Task Lists.
- Ensuring work order planning quality for field execution which includes adding parts, resources and documentation to be able to execute safely & efficiently and in line with companies Masterplan.
- Achieve optimal serviceability of plant & equipment to ensure reliable operation in the most economical and cost-effective manner.
- Secure the integrity of maintenance plans by developing and maintaining strong networks with purchasing and supply personnel to ensure the timely availability of parts and equipment as planned, facilitating the repair of communication breakdowns as required.
About You
Essential Qualifications:
- Mechanical, Instrument and/or Electrical Trade
Required experiences:
- A skill set covering Waukesha, Superior engines, Ariel, Gemini, Dresser, Nuovo, Frick compressors & Garrett Ruston turbines highly desirable
- Substantial experience in Oil and Gas Industry with planned maintenance outages or project management of oil and gas projects
- High level of communication skills to encourage involvement for site and contractor interface for planned outages and work related activities
- A good understanding of maintenance practices and processes.
- Advanced computer and database skills Proficiency in MS Excel software
- Capable in the use of other MS Office software.
- SAP desired or alternative CMMS experience
- Viziya / Prometheus scheduling tool exposure
