Here we make a range of award-winning cheese and other dairy related products for both the domestic and export markets.About the opportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our maintenance planning strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime.Key areas:
- Develop and implement maintenance planning strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Create and maintain maintenance schedules and work orders
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities
- Identify and recommend improvements to maintenance processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Lead a preventive maintenance based culture in the engineering team. Promoting the use of condition based monitoring techniques to predict failures before they occur
- Background in a similar role, or manufacturing experienced trade position
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently and effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
