About the Role
MinRes is a globally significant lithium producer with world-class assets. These include two of the world's largest hard-rock lithium mines, Mt Marion and Wodgina, as well as our recently acquired Bald Hill operation.
Reporting to the Shutdown & Planning Superintendent and working on an 8:6 roster, you will oversee the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities within the processing plant at our Wodgina mine in Western Australia.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out maintenance planning and scheduling processes for the processing plant.
- Scheduling resources, labour, materials, and plant access for preventative, planned, and emergent maintenance works.
- Coordinating with MinRes Procurement and Supply teams to ensure the timely arrival of all inventory, direct order materials, and equipment.
- Leading weekly meetings to review scheduling adherence, maintenance activities, material needs, plant availability, and workforce requirements.
- Helping refine and implement systems and processes to improve equipment performance, reduce administrative overhead, and extend equipment lifespan.
- Facilitating contractor management processes for all labour hire and site contractors.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in shutdown and / or maintenance planning.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Sound knowledge of maintenance planning philosophies.
- Able to manage multiple activities while working through logistical issues.
- Competent in using CMMS systems (e.g. Pronto) and the Microsoft suite of products.
- While not essential, exposure to the production activities within a mineral processing plant would be useful.
- A current C Class Driver’s Licence.
