Our Role
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join the team at one of our Quarry/Plant sites across regional NSW, either in Tamworth or regional Victoria.
Located at one of our Quarry/Plant sites in regional NSW, this position will be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance planning and scheduling processes on our sites.
Key focus areas include:
- Providing detailed job plans that insure safe and efficient execution of maintenance jobs.
- Working with site maintenance team members to develop new maintenance procedures for standard jobs.
- Facilitating weekly scheduling meeting with Production and maintenance Supervisors.
- Developing weekly/Daily schedules based on negotiated production unit priorities and current business environment to optimize the use of site wide available resources; Ensures appropriate scheduling logic including amount of preventative maintenance work verse corrective work.
- Working with site maintenance lead when required to adjust schedules to accommodate changing production priorities or available resources (actual redirection of resources is completed by Mx lead).
- Follows a planning and scheduling process for major shutdowns. This also includes Gantt charts, role definitions, shutdown risk identification and controls.
- Work with maintenance team to build and maintain EPL (Equipment Parts List) information in JDE.

- Excellent report writing skills
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise and knowledge in planning and planning methodology
- An understanding of reliability practices
