We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic Sydney based team. The role will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all Operational and Facilities maintenance. You will coordinate and plan the department’s resources, directing all activity necessary for the efficient and effective provision on the planning and delivery of Operational and/or Facilities Maintenance services.
We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible to:
- Coordination of planned/preventative maintenance programs with the aim of ensuring that maintenance planning/dispatching are effectively utilized to facilitate optimum efficiency of the Maintenance teams and subcontractor base.
- Communicate with different departments to ensure response to all maintenance tasks are attended safely and promptly
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and performance of our contract with the client, including working with our client to improve the preventative maintenance programs and drive self-perform of maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate planned/preventative maintenance programs for the Maintenance team, with the aim of ensuring that maintenance management systems are effectively utilised to facilitate optimum efficiency of the Maintenance team
- Drive the efficient delivery of the weekly works program
- Monitoring of vehicles and mobile plant maintenance associated with the contract and reporting to Maintenance leads discrepancies.
- Ensure that all work requests are attended within required timeframe.
- Organize any additional equipment required to respond to priority work orders, Vacuum Trucks, Bypass Pumps, Generators, Cranes, Gas Specialist, MST.
- Develop and maintain efficient, effective filing and data processing systems to ensure user-friendly retrieval of information.
- Ability to provide coverage and be available to the ECC (Emergency Control Centre) during 24/7 wet weather events.
The successful applicant will have:
- Degree qualified preferable
- 5 years’ experience in planning and dispatching environment
- Previous Experience in Compterised Maintenance Management Systems Maximo (CMMS).
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
