The Role
The Maintenance Process Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of maintenance optimization strategies and initiatives to improve plant reliability, availability, and efficiency.
You will be key in analysing and evaluating current maintenance practices, identification of continuous improvement, and developing and implementing strategies to optimize Maintenance Processes and reduce downtime.
As a leader you will lead by our values to ensure that all field teams are engaged, compliant and maintain a positive outlook to support a culture that provides a place of innovation and growth.
This role will be required to travel to Kalgoorlie ex Perth at least once a month or can be based in Kalgoorlie.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Maintenance Processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program to reduce equipment downtime and increase reliability.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify maintenance trends, anticipate equipment failures, and optimize maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics, such as maintenance costs, equipment downtime, and asset utilization.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of maintenance personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards related to maintenance activities.
- Manage and oversee the work of maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors.
- Effective leadership of mechanical field personnel to ensure a can do, positive and innovative culture is maintained.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or significant trade or industry experience
- Comprehensive level of experience in maintenance management or related field
- Proven track record of implementing maintenance optimization strategies and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment, and systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
