Responsibilities:
The Maintenance and Reliability Manager role requires dynamic leadership to optimize the performance of our Nutritional’s & Services plants. Key responsibilities include leading reliability programs, managing breakdown resolution and improvement projects, overseeing budgets, and providing safety leadership. The role involves project, technical support, and flexibility for on-call support. Ensuring safety and quality, managing equipment service plans, collaborating with external providers, and active participation in plant improvements are integral. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automated equipment preferably Tetra Pak machinery, continuous improvement experience, and effective team leadership skills.
Requirements
- Engineering or Trade Qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Food Manufacturing.
- 3 years manufacturing experience in Nutritional Plants & Services – highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of CMMS, stores inventory, and reliability best practice.
- History of continuous improvement and project management experience.
- Ability to fault-find technical problems and coach/mentor reliability technicians.
- Strong communication, written, and planning skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build rapport across stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with GMP manufacturing, preferably in a Dairy or Food Manufacturing environment.
- Outstanding leadership skills, ability to communicate effectively, and build relationships.
