The Opportunity
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will be responsible for the leadership and management of Maintenance of the Nutritionals & Services plants Reliability programs and efficiency, ultimately leading to the Site reaching planned output volumes and cost production.
Managing the planning and scheduling of all plant and equipment maintenance.
Directly managing all activities of the Nuts & Services reliability team to resolve breakdowns quickly and to root cause, carry out improvement projects, improving output and cost of production.
Managing the overall maintenance budget ensuring value and benefit for expenditure.
Mentoring and providing safety leadership to your team.
Ensuring the site maintains legislative compliance.
Overseeing all maintenance purchasing functions, with a particular view on reducing cost of purchased spares.
Providing structure and direction to team to maintain a continuous improvement attitude
Project management.
Technical Support including on-call activities
Drive technical training
Support the OpX program, coaching and mentoring Maintenance leads & developing skills of Maintenance staff aligned with DMS
Supporting the UHT reliability program when the UHT RM is absent
What you'll bring
Engineering or Trade Qualified with minimum 5 years' experience in Food Manufacturing
3 years manufacturing experience in Nutrtitional Plants & Services, - highly desirable
Deep understanding of CMMS, stores inventory and reliability best practice
A history of Continuous improvement experience
Ability to fault find technical problems and coach/mentor reliability technicians
Strong communication, written and planning skills
Strong ability to work cross functionally and build rapport across a various stakeholder groups.
Ability to multi-task with competing priorities.
Familiarity with GMP manufacturing, preferably within a Dairy or Food Manufacturing environment.
