The Site Reliability team within Cartology supporting the logging, monitoring and deployment of applications with the cloud and on-premise network of devices. This is a sysadmin-focused Site Reliability Engineering role, offering room for software engineering involvement.

- Help to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot a network of 10,000+ distributed devices (Digital Media Players, Routers, and Screens)
- Automate and optimise device fleet management processes
- Develop internal tools and documentation to enhance team efficiency
- Support of Kubernetes and Google Cloud platform environments in collaboration with the team
- Strong Linux (Ubuntu preferred) skills - systemd, networking, xrand/display configuration
- Extensive experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and OTEL Collectors
- Strong familiarity with Configuration management tools like Salt Project, Chef or Puppet
- Knowledge of at least one SaaS Monitoring and Observability platform, like Datadog, Splunk/SignalFX or Dynatrace
- Software engineering skills in Golang, Python, or Node
- Solid working knowledge of Linux utilities and scripting - bash, etc
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code
