The role is responsible for optimisation of the schedule to enable the efficient execution of works and is accountable for schedule stability and compliance. The role requires agility to adapt to changing requirements and respond to feedback on scheduling process to enable continuous improvement. You will be adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment with an ability to be flexible and take on challenges with finesse and ease.
You will need to be comfortable working in multiple systems and computer literate. Problem solving will be second nature where you will need to manage competing work priorities within current resource capacity. With your exceptional stakeholder management skills, you will build strong partnerships across the organisation and build credibility quickly with your stakeholders delivering the best outcomes for the business.
The role sits within the Maintenance group who is responsible for maintaining Transgrid’s assets and delivering an efficient and predictive program. Duties and Responsibilities Perform the translation of work order details (which include job requirements on HV outages, mobile plant, specialised equipment, number of resources, minimum skill level, work hours per skill level, job duration) from Planning team into schedule program Liaise with key stakeholders to inform variation requests when work cannot be completed within delivery required by timeframes, work clarification and improvements Ensure the provision of three month scheduling program to Execution Group Maintain schedule contingency of 20% by scheduling only 80% of work to accommodate short term unforeseen work and facilitate allocation of contingent work Liaise with key stakeholders on competing work priorities that trigger a clash or constraint to ensure the best Delivery outcome for Transgrid Systems management to ensure accuracy of work order information in Corporate Systems (Ellipse, MS Excel and TRAC) About you Completion of a relevant Diploma qualification or equivalent knowledge based upon extensive field experience Strong stakeholder management skills to drive outcomes and KPIs Excellent report writing skills Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, able to influence internal and external authorities Knowledge of Environmental and WHS legislation (include Mobile Plant Framework) Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and allocate tasks to ensure work completed on time Proficient in the use of PC applications relevant to the position (MS Excel, Ellipse and TRAC) Demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities and identify and manage risk Strong interpersonal, consultative, negotiation and research skills Highly developed written…
