We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating planned maintenance tasks, scheduling routine preventative maintenance and calibration work, and ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance activities in alignment with production demands. Your attention to detail, data analysis skills, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial for success in this position.
Let's Talk About the Role
- Schedule planned maintenance tasks and routine preventative maintenance, including annual shutdowns, for both internal staff and external contractors.
- Collect data for schedule compliance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Level workload to ensure efficient distribution of tasks.
- Liaise with production and manufacturing engineering teams to optimize maintenance activities according to production schedules.
- Review and close out maintenance work orders to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
- Identify opportunities to perform maintenance during planned production downtime.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to optimize preventative maintenance schedules.
- Upload maintenance work orders for external contractors into the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Communicate system or procedural changes/improvements to internal staff and external contractors.

Required
- Trade background or technical qualification in mechanical/electrical.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for maintenance performance metrics.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Scheduler, Planner, or Service Coordinator.
- Experience using Oracle eAM or other CMMS systems.
