About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Australind site, based in the idyllic South West of W.A. You will enjoy a picturesque lifestyle and be home to your family each night!
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will be accountable to:
- Provide direction, support, leadership and development to a team of Mechanical fitters and apprentice’s
- Coordinate and supervise daily and weekly planned maintenance activities to ensure reliability of equipment and productivity of labour
- Identify risks that have the capacity to compromise the plant’s performance outcomes and drive resolution of these issues to mitigate any impacts to desired outcomes
- Ensures contractor activities align with Tronox processes/procedures (e.g. SHE, Engineering Specifications etc.) and Tronox Values & Behaviours
- Drive continuous improvement cost and productivity initiatives
About you
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
- 3-5 years experience within a Supervisory role with a skill for leading diverse groups
- Mechanical Trade Certificate (required)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience in managing contractors in a complex environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
