About the Role:
As the Mechanical Supervisor - CHPP, you will report to the Maintenance Coordinator - CHPP, and ensure an efficient operation of the Coal Handling Prep Plant, working collaboratively towards achieving production targets. You will be responsible for supervising the CHPP Operations, ensuring maintenance targets are achieved, and maintain high standards in safety, cost, quality and environment. This role will be working the Curragh Lifestyle Roster 4/5, 5/4.
In this role you responsibilities will include:
- Identifying potential / mechanical problems and implement effective preventative, predictive, and reliability maintenance and record these electrical / mechanical maintenance activities for subsequent technical reporting as required.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of plans, encompassing activities from ROM Stocks to Train loadout, including associated infrastructure and services.
- Establish and uphold accountability within the CHPP maintenance team, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Cultivate positive working relationships through collaborative teamwork and a culture of mutual respect.
- Coordinating and lead by example to deal with breakdown repairs whenever required and show initiative in identifying opportunities to improve plant and equipment performance
About you:
- Mechanical Trade qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in the operation of coal processing plants, mineral processing plants or general plant maintenance
- Proven experience within a supervisory role
- Commitment to a positive safety culture and risk awareness and identification of hazards
