About the role:
Performance Mining is currently searching for a highly experienced and performance-driven MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to fill a site-based role in the Goldfields, WA, for immediate start!
This position will draw on your leadership and technical capabilities to adequately plan, manage, and report on the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and general performance of a wide range of Heavy Mobile Equipment and mine-spec vehicles.
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will effectively be responsible for the supervision and implementation of all maintenance works and planning, overall team collaboration, work output and quality, client engagement, and workplace OHS and compliance.
Your role will involve FIFO travel out of Perth or DIDO travel direct from Kalgoorlie-Boulder on a 5/2 – 4/3 roster, which includes dayshift only. You will be provided with a fully equipped mine spec vehicle.
What you must bring to the role:
- Previous experience in a site-based Supervisory / Management position
- Experience across a variety of OEM heavy surface mining equipment and vehicles – Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Isuzu, and Toyota
- Proficiency in diagnosing, fault-finding, and maintaining a variety of mobile plant
- Confidence in client interactions, engagement, and maintenance reporting
- Previous experience with maintenance planning and scheduling
- Familiarity across CMMS programs and Microsoft Office Suite
- Clear understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Standards
- Leadership qualities that foster effective team management and collaboration
Required items for the role:
- Relevant Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification
- A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- A National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical as well as a D&A Test
