As Maintenance Supervisor you are responsible for supervising a team of various maintenance trades. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the maintenance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for driving preventive maintenance programs and proactively identifying and address plant issues before they occur
- Responsible for delivery of general repairs and maintenance services across the site
- Responsibility to reactive general maintenance work and rectify faults and breakdowns in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimise production disruptions
- Coordinate with production and maintenance team to prioritise maintenance task and support production schedules
- Undertake a broad range of maintenance works including but not limited to equipment installations, mechanical and electrical repairs
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance
We're interested in people who can bring:
- Trade qualification, (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Maintenance supervisor experience
- Flexible and adaptable. Able to respond positively to change and high-pressure situations.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Technical understanding of different maintenance strategies and asset health principles
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members and ability to work with contractors/service providers.
- Flexible to work on AM, PM and Weekends shift and time adjustment as requested to suit business
- Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling using CMMS - Maximo, SAP or MEX is an added advantage.
