Looking for an individual to oversee the organisation and execution of infrastructure maintenance and asset management minor works programs. The primary focus will be on addressing inquiries from the community and stakeholders regarding the Town's daily maintenance and capital projects. Additionally, this role involves supporting fellow supervisors as needed.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Coordination:
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate street maintenance programs.
- Manage civil infrastructure projects and provide leadership to field staff and contractors.
- Inspect private civil works for compliance.
- Authorize infrastructure bond returns and optimise equipment usage.
- Coordinate with other Supervisors for program efficiency.
- Assist in planning traffic management for construction works.
Administration:
- Draft response letters for customer inquiries.
- Monitor expenditures and obtain quotes within budgetary guidelines.
Skills
- Experience in civil engineering maintenance and construction.
- Knowledge of construction equipment.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings.
- Coordination and supervision skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Record-keeping and financial tracking abilities.
- Valid Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s License.
- Current Police clearance.
