Introduction:
Reporting to the ME & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance works to repair, maintain and service production equipment and systems.
The Role:
- Apply fabrication, forming and shaping techniques
- Assemble fabricated components
- Install pipework and pipework assemblies
- Interpret technical specifications and manuals
- Maintain and overhaul mechanical equipment
- Maintain engine cooling systems
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Maintain water treatment systems for cooling towers
- Manufacture press tools and gauges
- Measure and sketch site information
- Operate and monitor intermediate class boiler
- Perform automated thermal cutting
- Perform equipment condition monitoring and recording
- Perform installation and removal of mechanical seals
- Perform manual production welding
- Perform operational maintenance of machines / equipment
- Prepare basic engineering drawing
- Produce free hand sketches
- Set up basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Shut down and isolate machines / equipment
What you’ll have:
- Must be competent / Qualified Fitter
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Proven safe work practices and commitment to safety.
- Great communication skills within a team environment and a team player with flexibility to assist all areas when needed.
- Licence to perform rigging basic level
- Working at heights licence
- Confined spaces licence
- Elevated work platform licence
