Job Description
We are currently searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic Full-Time Maintenance Technician to oversee the efficient operations of the hotel's maintenance, encompassing preventive, predictive, and reactive tasks.
In this position, your responsibilities will involve preserving the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings through the implementation of secure working methods. Your goal is to safeguard the property, ensuring it remains a functional, pleasant, and secure environment for both internal and external customers.
Your tasks will be diverse in this role, making it an excellent opportunity for a versatile handy person:
- Conduct daily plant rounds, identifying and noting any equipment that may seem or sound faulty for prompt repair.
- Perform maintenance on mechanical equipment and water reticulation to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
- Guarantee the correct usage and storage of all equipment.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks outlined by the Hotels' Property Management System (PMS).
- Maintain accurate records of plant and equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Coordinate with contractors as required.

Qualifications
- Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels, fixed plant and equipment systems.
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Used to working as part of a small team.
- Self motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable.
- Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts.
