About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be is responsible for the maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings ensuring all tasks are performed in a safe, productive and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities include:
Working in small team, your key responsibilities will be:
- Conduct and carry out the maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings as specified on the work order.
- Conduct and carry out schedule preventative maintenance.
- Operation of plant and equipment as part of completing tasks
- Report on workshop inventory
- Maintain maintenance records on the allocated system
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for plant and equipment
The successful candidate will possess:
- A current driver’s license.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- A high commitment to following safe work practices
- Irrigation experience is desirable
- Mig and Arc Welding knowledge and experience is also advantageous
