The Contract: Ongoing Full time, 80.00 per fortnight with monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO)
The Position:
In this role you will provide effective and efficient repairs, modification and maintenance to all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid power systems operated by Bairnsdale Regional Health Service. You will work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team of trade and non-trade staff, to undertake preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment. The BRHS Facilities Department is responsible for providing essential services, planned and breakdown maintenance support to all Bairnsdale Regional Health Service owned and operated facilities as well as managing the BRHS vehicle fleet.

What you need:
- A recognised mechanical trade qualification
- Two or more years' experience in a facilities/building maintenance role
- Demonstrated competence and knowledge to perform a range of mechanical repairs and maintenance to machinery.
- Proven ability to diagnose faults, problem solve and achieve optimum solutions
- The ability to work in and contribute to a high functioning team

The Team:
The Facilities Department is responsible for providing essential services, planned and breakdown maintenance support to all Bairnsdale Regional Health Service owned and operated facilities. The Department also manages the vehicle fleet including a range of passenger and commercial vehicles used to transport patients, residents and staff all over the state.
