With nearly 50 venues across eight brands in Australia, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and America, our growing team is on the lookout for a passionate, professional and fun Facilities Technician/Maintenance person for our brand new Holey Moley and Hijinx Hotel venue located in Canberra's CBD!

What You'll Do: 

• Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue;
• Follow workplace directions in relation to your role: read and respond to emails & calendar invites, stay in contact with support, follow up on tasks and communications;
• Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling lanes & machines/holes/ amusement games/trampolines and other venue attractions/devices;
• Maintaining databases and spare parts;
• Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety;
• Supervise and sign off external trades attending site (Area Facility Managers only authorised to book trades) and
• General facility upkeep (painting, repairs, etc).

 
Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the national technical team.
 
What You've Got:

• To be successful in the role you will need to possess the following:
• Natural technical/mechanical aptitude
• Proven technical or mechanical experience
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems
• A willingness to learn and problem solve
• A mature, collaborative and positive approach to your work
• An ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems
