Accountant

We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Bepoz Global, based out of Melbourne (VIC) is actively looking for an Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis. The business is Australia's leading supplier and developer of point of sale (POS) systems. They are renowned for supplying products that are customised to meet the demands of running a bar, restaurant, cafe, hotel or club. In addition to POS system, Bepoz offers fully integrated Digital Signage, CCTV, Paging solutions, Takeaway Order Apps & Self-Ordering fully customized to business.
Main Responsibilities of the role are-

• Correct record maintenance in accordance with accounting and tax standards and requirements.
• Analysing, examining financial information and preparing and forming accurate and complete financial statements, budgets, reports, balance sheets, business activity statements (BAS) and profit and loss statements.
• Undertaking reconciliation activities in regards to invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank statements, and general ledgers (including sub ledgers).
• Reviewing, investigating, and correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Reconciling, coding, entering, and maintaining, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and undertaking follow-up activities for various departmental budgets, audits and reports.
• Participating and providing inputs in preparation of management accounting, profitability reports, and cash flow analysis. Providing inputs for accounting and tax strategies to managements.
• Providing inputs for statutory reporting for BAS, Annual reports, ASIC and ATO reporting.
• Establishing annual and monthly budgets alongside the management.
• Working with the external accountant in regards to complex taxation matters.
• Utilising accounting software to perform monthly and yearly closing procedures.

Must Have -

• Atleast Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Must have atleast 3 years of experience in accounting field
• Must have atleast 1 year of experience in accounting field in similar industry
• Highly Desirable - 2 years of Australian experience in similar field
• Highly Desirable - Australian Qualification
• Must be IT literate in Accounting Software and MS Office
• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Proven skills in Accounting and Mathematics.
• Detail oriented, ability to multitask, work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to independently resolve complex problems where analysis requires the in-depth evaluation of numerous factors.
• Ability to priorities and highly organised and work autonomously.

Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of 70,000-90,000 Plus Superannuation.
