IT Managed Services Engineer
XBC Business Technology have been providing businesses with ICT solutions on the Gold Coast and around Australia for over 30 years.
We have an opportunity for an IT Managed Services Engineer with at least 3 years practical experience to join our team (also suitable to Post Grad). The position calls for a strong technical background with Microsoft on premise and cloud solutions.
The role will involve interaction and building rapport with customers, so it is vital that our ideal candidate be courteous and professional delivering the best possible customer experience. If you have enthusiasm, a great sense of humour, strong communications skills, and an outgoing personality you’ll fit right in with our team
The Role:
- Supporting customer networks infrastructure, systems, and data.
- Advanced troubleshooting:- End user support queries through to business operation applications and network topologies
- Support of server operating systems, MS Server 2008,2012,2016,2019,2022
- Provide user setup, system monitoring, security patching and backups
- Supporting Microsoft Servers & Desktop Operating Systems
- Microsoft Azure & Office 365 Certification
- VMware/HyperV
- Network Security
- Exchange Services
- Some SQL experience would be an advantage
- Backup solutions, such as VEEAM, Shadow Protect, Datto
- Solutions design for pre-sales
