The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager - Trading Operations you will be part of a small team preparing the monthly management and operational reporting for a important subsidiary business unit, supporting the company's key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to.
- Leading the end of month process and undertaking comprehensive analysis to support the business unit
- Working closely with key stakeholders at all levels to provide financial insight critical to decision-making
- Responsibility for accuracy, transparency, and comprehensive analysis of departmental costs
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for Operating and Capital Expenditure
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements through in-depth understanding of key business drivers
- Supporting site with finance-related systems and queries as a subject matter expert
- Leading adhoc business improvement projects as required
- CA/CPA/CIMA qualification
- 3+ years management accounting experience. If you have commodity trading or banking exposure that would be fabulous! Also experience in cost accounting from a manufacuring environment would be highly regarded.
- SAP experience and solid MS Excel skills
- Confident interpersonal style and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
