Management Accountant

Due to an internal promotion Swings & Roundabouts are now looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to help drive this exciting business forward by assisting the General Manager in providing timely and accurate reports. 

Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts
• Month end reporting and analysis in a timely manner
• Responsible for the general ledger/ accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Overseeing and coordinating the monthly stock take process.
• Data analysis and report writing
• Production of weekly sales reports 
• Assistance with the annual budgeting process
• Assistance with cash flow forecasting 
• Preparation of monthly/ quarterly and annual regulatory reporting
• Assisting Payroll and Payroll related duties as required
• Other general ad-hoc administration
• Research into available government grants and funding

Skills and Attributes

• Must hold a recognised accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Previous experience in Implementation of new systems desirable
• Strong IT systems skills essential
• Excellent administration and people management skill
• Experience in month end reporting cycles and ad hoc reporting essential
• Advanced Excel skills essential
• Working knowledge of accounting systems essential (MYOB desirable)
• Stock management experience essential
• Wine production or Manufacturing experience essential
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems desirable
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality work
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Mature, credible and reliable
