DEVELOP (ASX: DVP) will utilise the power of people to produce clean metals and help decarbonise the world. 

DEVELOP has a hybrid business model - Mine Ownership and Mining Services Strategy. 

The first of these centres on the exploration and production of future-facing metals. As part of this, the Company owns the Sulphur Springs copper-zinc-silver project in WA’s Pilbara region. This project is currently the focus of ongoing exploration to grow the inventory and various development studies. We then have ownership of Pioneer Dome Lithium Project in WA's Goldfields region.  DEVELOP also owns the Woodlawn zinc-copper project in NSW. Woodlawn, comprises an underground mine, a significant JORC Resource and Reserve and a new processing plant. 

The second plank of DEVELOP's strategy centres on the provision of underground mining services. As part of this, DEVELOP has agreements to provide underground mining services to:

• Bellevue Gold's (ASX: BGL), Bellevue Gold Project;
• Mineral Resources Limited's (ASX: MIN), Mt Marion Lithium Mine;  and
• Karora Resources (TSX: KRR), Beta Hunt Operation.

Current Opportunity with DEVELOP: 

DEVELOP currently have an opportunity for aManagement Accountantto join our growing team at our West Leederville Head Office, on a full time basis. 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for management accounting across multiple sites within Develop's Dev Mining Services entity. It involves month end reporting, cost and variance analysis, capital reporting, budgeting and the maintenance of financial systems and procedures.

Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Develop strong working relationships with Management and site personnel, whilst taking full responsibility for this ~$175M per annum revenue in FY25 business entity. 
• Monitor operating performance, revenue and cost accounting, perform month end accounting activities including relevant accruals, allocations and cost transfers, balance sheet reconciliations as well as provide cost and variance analysis to support business decisions.
• Monitor and measure capital expenditure and loan schedules, allocate expenditure accurately between capital and operating, close out projects and create and maintain the fixed assets of the sites.
• Support the annual budget process, working with the Management and site departments to deliver accurate and timely budget models.
• Liaise and assist with the Develop Accounts Payable and Purchasing departments to ensure inventory, costs and processes are relevant and accurate.        
• Management/Maintenance of the ERP system (Pronto) Dev Mining Services Data Set.
• Liaise and reporting as required by WA State departments (including but not limited to the mines department and revenue departments) 
• Assist the Develop Finance Department with site related financial reporting requirements including taxation, statutory accounts, and audits as they occur.
• Assist Develop Finance team with timely financial records maintenance and compliance with the relevant statutory, regulatory, and accounting standard requirement.
• Travel to the various sites on a semi regular basis (once a quarter ideally).

Requirements: 

• 2+ years experience in a similar role and in the resource sector preferred
• Hold a post graduate accounting qualification (or working towards completion) 
• Pronto XI experience preferred
• A high level of computer literacy in MS Office Suite applications
• Good knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Excellent organisation and time management skills. 
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously 
• Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices. 
• Unlimited Working Rights in Australia
• Current National Police Clearance (or ability to apply)
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Screen
