If you share our clear vision to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance team located in Perth, Western Australia on a permanent basis. 

About the role: 

This is a key role that is responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to senior management to support strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for financial reporting and analysis of project performances, project costs, process improvement and ensure all processes adhere to accounting standards. This role is crucial in partnering with operations, project teams and management team to provide key financial insights to improve decision making and ensure business efficiencies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for preparation and submission of Budgets and Forecast reports to the Management Team
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting for Quarter end and Year end closing
• Coordinate Management Reporting pack and provide insight on project forecasts
• Review and challenge of budget/forecast models with both Finance and Operational team members
• Manage Cost centres, analyse costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Maintain effective working relationships with key project team personnel and support functions
• Perform Ad hoc analysis for management and operation/project teams
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and support with Audit requests 

About You 

We would love to hear from you if you profile meets the following requirements:

• Tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance 
• CA or CPA certification preferred 
• 3-5 years in a Management Accountant or analyst role with strong accounting standard knowledge 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations and senior management 
• Effective in leading and managing change 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities 
• Power BI experience preferred 
• Familiar with IFRS15
