Form of workOur client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Business Performance Analysis team on a 4 month contract. As a Management Accountant within our client's Business Performance Analysis team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organisation.
Your duties will include:
- Ensure month end / year end close is timely and accurate through journal preparation and posting, reconciliation work and preparing monthly variance reports.
- Financial modelling and analysis to support business case development.
- Support the budgeting process for various teams and business units.
- Work with the team to drive business unit profitability by looking for opportunities to maximise revenue and optimise cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with Business Partners in decision support, planning and operational performance management
What you bring:
With your strong Excel skills, you will conduct financial modelling and analysis that supports business case development. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure accuracy during month-end/year-end closes.
- Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role is essential.
- Strong Excel skills are required for data analysis and financial modelling.
- Solid experience in financial analysis is necessary for understanding business performance.
