The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced and forward-thinking Management Accountants looking to take the next step in their career. In these roles, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for the annual and monthly budget development, monthly forecasting, assisting the team with completion of monthly reporting requirements, analysis of monthly financials and dealing with a wide range of business stakeholders. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Liaise with senior management and the ELT to develop operating and capital expenditure budgets in accordance with agreed timetables
- Monthly forecasting – Liaising with relevant stakeholders to complete rolling forecast
- Assist in preparation of organisational performance reporting including but not limited to Statement of Priorities, Business Plan and KPI reporting.
- Assist with the completion of month-end processes and reconciliations
- Monthly PL analysis and variance commentary
- Analysis of monthly financials including queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Develop a key understanding of current operational and financial systems
- In order to thrive in this position, you will be a natural people person who likes to collaborate.
- Qualified CA or equivalent.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to add value to improving processes and systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with proven stakeholder management.
- Prior experience as a Management Accountant or equivalent.
- Experience within NFP, Education, Government or Healthcare highly advantageous but not essential.
