Qualifications & experience
- An Australian tertiary qualification in accounting
- 4+ years of experience working in a similar role
- Member of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants ANZ
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual budget and forecasts
- Analyse and interpret financials, budget and cashflow forecasts
- Meet with clients and advise on how their business is going in terms of their goals with no accounting-jargon
- Craft financial strategies that are aligned with the company's overarching goals and objectives to maximize effectiveness.
- Compliance with Australian financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Provide effective leadership for the accounts and finance function
- Make an effective contribution to the management team with actionable analysis. Conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
