Management Accountant | Infrastructure

The Company

Operating in Australia for multiple decades, our client is a well-respected private equity backed infrastructure body. They are a leading provider of a range of critical infrastructure with a growing focus on sustainability. Described by the CEO as one of the best culture's he has worked for, this is a business that has seen rapid growth over the last year. To meet the needs of the expansion, they are hiring a Management Accountant with a strong project focus to assist with the project portfolio.

This role will be reporting to the CFO, this role offers a genuine temp to permanent pathway for the right candidate.

The Role

This role will be reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not limited to;

• Management accounting.
• Project Costing and tracking monthly budget.
• Monthly accruals.
• Cash flow management.
• Project forecasting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Variance analysis.
• Month-end reporting.
• Management Reporting.

This role will start as a 3 month temp assignment with the view for the right candidate to move onto a permanent basis.

Your Profile

• Ideally CA or CPA Qualified
• Exposure to Microsoft Navision is desirable.
• Power BI not necessary but advantageous
• Excellent technical accounting and excel skillset
• Ability to handle a challenging change and growth environment
• Strong communication
• Natural accounting intuition - ability to spot when numbers don't appear correct
