Central Asphalt Group is an Australian owned and operated business, with over 30 years of experience and a solid reputation in the road maintenance, civil construction, and transport sector. We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team in the position of Management Accountant.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting functions using XERO
- Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights to the business to help with decision making.
- Financial forecasting, budgeting, planning and variance analysis.
- Monitor cashflow and produce monthly cashflow reports and analysis.
- Fixed asset register maintenance.
- Preparation of statutory lodgements.
- Assist with audit preparation.
- Efficiently managing payroll operations including observing labour laws and employment legislation across the company.
- Maintain high standards of administrative functions and timelines.
Qualification & Experience
- Completed professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA)
- Demonstrated experience in construction sector or similar.
- High level of computer literacy with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with Xero.
