Job description

Are you a motivated and dynamic individual with a passion for sales? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets?

We are looking for an experienced B2B industrial salesperson to manage and grow Key Accounts Melbourne. You'll engage face-to-face with buyers to understand their needs and position RS as a preferred partner. Reporting to the State Manager, you'll work in the field to support key customers and develop the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve overall company goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with engineering is a plus
  • SAP experience would be advantageous
