They currently have a new vacancy for an additional Corporate Key Account Manager who is passionate to deliver a high level of strategic Freight Solutions, as well as opening up new opportunities for the business.
Reporting to the Business Manager;
- Maintain suitable relationships with Tier 1 customers,
- Interpreting and understanding the client contracts, commercial rates and customer surveys,
- Organize and execute business reviews with customer
- Manage, maintain and record all KPI meetings and actions in CW1
- Achieve set portfolio & new business growth targets
- Develop or enhance supply chain services to customers focusing on innovation, efficiency, returns, and service excellence.
- Work with our Client Solutions team to streamline reporting processes and implement customer CW1 interfaces
- Delivery on clients reporting requirements - Weekly, Monthly & QBR's
- As required, the KAM will be the conduit for all non-conformances with the client and work cooperatively with Operations to resolve in a timely manner and interact with all service streams of Warehousing, Imports, Customer service, Pricing and Transport departments across the nation to ensure resolution
- Lead cross-function teams for customer-based projects
- Actively participate in the process of winning new business for your accounts by working with the Product Managers and Sales teams.
- Responsible for the implementation & growth of new business accounts won by the Sales department
- Develop and maintain an Account Development Plan and strategy.
- Accountable to meet or exceed targets for profitability, cash flow - outstanding debtors and debt collection, contract renewals, organic growth, number of services and/or volumes, customer relationships, customer business review meetings and customer satisfaction levels.
To be consider for this role;
- Demonstrate at least 5+ years within a similar role
dealing directly with commercial clients with large volumes - Demonstrate a high level of problem solving and solutions selling
- experience in tender presentations, client review meetings,
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to adhere to targets and KPI's
- Excellent communication written and verbal
- Excellent presentation skills
Experience within local freight forwarding is a must, in either an account management or senior customer service role, knowledge of 3PL contract logistics, is desirable, but not essential.
