As we continue to expand, our client is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our subsidiary. this position will initially be on a 6 month contract whilst our client completes a systems implementation, it will then have the potential to go permanent.
Position Overview:
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the management accounts of one of our clients subsidiary businesses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial insight. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Conducting Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Performing Revenue Analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Conducting Cost analysis to optimise expenditure and enhance profitability.
- Completing General Ledger Reconciliations to maintain financial transparency.
- Engaging in Finance Business Partnering to collaborate with stakeholders and drive financial decision-making.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, providing insightful analysis and commentary.
- Assisting in the development of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a proven track record in a similar Management Accountant position.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Balance Sheet reconciliations, Revenue Analysis, Cost analysis, and General Ledger Reconciliations.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
