The organisation requires a Management Accountant to join the team at their world-leading Newcastle facility.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role involves understanding our business drivers and guiding effective budgeting, forecasting, and decision making along with providing key support to meet business planning, operating, and reporting requirements. In addition to supporting the finance team with the commercial accounting responsibilities expected of an in-house finance function, you will also have the opportunity to grow your business partnering capabilities and use your accounting expertise to provide financial analysis and insights for the Finance Manager and stakeholders to enhance forecasting, decision making, and identify continuous improvements.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in management accounting & reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems. You will also have the ability to build relationships, innovate, and champion continuous improvements, becoming a trusted business partner to key stakeholders across the business. Relevant qualifications in Finance or Accounting is essential, with CPA/CAANZ certification or working towards highly desirable. A job share arrangement may be considered for the right candidates.
