On behalf of Sweet Kiss Wholesale Pty Ltd, we are conducting a search for a skilled Management Accountant.
Current Opening:
This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Work closely with the management to perform all aspects of management accounting duties for all companies under the Director.
- Assist in conducting analysis, and profitability reports and present accurate data and financial analysis to internal customers.
- Create financial statements for internal and external company requirements.
- Perform cost analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assist with long-term financial planning.
- Review, develop, and implement financial systems, processes, financial models, and reports to provide reliable and useful financial information for the various departments and management.
- Serve the Company faithfully and diligently to the best of your ability.
- Comply with all policies of the Company, which are in place from time to time.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Analyse and present regularly to key stakeholders reports of the monthly, year to date, and yearly performance against previous year, budgeting latest estimates, in terms of sales, pricing, products P&L and defined KPI’s for use in management decision making.
- Assist with the preparation of tax effect calculation.
- Collate and analyse financial information to compile BAS, IAS, PAYG, Income tax, payroll tax FBT returns as well as compliance with other necessary legislations
- Assist in the Management and reconciliation of tax fixed asset registrar.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements
- Liaise with the external taxation accountant to lodge the company tax return.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
- Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the related area.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Initiative to work independently in a fast- paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership.
- Great customer services.
- Multi-lingual.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
