Management Accountant

• Full-time, Fixed-term 9 months maternity leave position
• Opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight with hybrid working arrangements.

City of Newcastle (CN) is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support our Finance, Property and Performance team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
As the Management Accountant you will have a strong focus on providing technical accounting advice to all council stakeholders whilst completing end of month financial reconciliations, management of CNs annual financial statements process including preparation of year end calculations and notes to the accounts, preparation of CN's Long-Term Financial Plan, and Activity Based Management.
