We currently have an exciting opportunity for a onsite Management Team at Gidgee Inn, Cloncurry.
Job Description
To ensure the smooth running of the motel; responsible in achieving efficient and effective motel operations and delivery of superior customer service and quality outcomes, maximising profitability, and enhancing the guest experience through effective management strategies and initiatives.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations within each department of the motel, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance – providing effective leadership, guidance, and communication.
- Provide support and training on the motels standards, policies and procedures, operational requirements, and business objectives.
- Manage the operational performance of the motel through meeting and exceeding set budgetary requirements.
- Proactively seek sales and marketing opportunities, ensuring a focus on continuous business development in Food and Beverage through proactive selling and online social media application.
- Manage the Food & Beverage Operation that is open for Breakfast and Dinner and special events
- Manage performance of employees, coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and development of staff.
- Manage and resolve guest concerns in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and report weekly and monthly upon the motel’s financial performance against the operational budget to achieve annual set targets.
- Ensure motel is compliant with all company guidelines, as well as all laws including WH&S, licensing, fire regulations and essential services.
Qualifications & Requirements
The successful applicants will have a strong background in hospitality operations, staff roster and cost control management. The ability to target and meet financial goals and budgets is essential
- RMLV and Approved Manager (Queensland)
- Room Sales and Online Channel Booking Management
- Food and Beverage Operations
- Good understanding of Housekeeping Operations
- Great with people and the ability to build rapport easily.
- Passionate and motivated to succeed.
- Must be willing to relocate and live onsite.
