Our Branch Organisational Services supports, equips and helps guide the Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer-focused approach. Within Organisational Services, the Information Services branch (ISB) supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible and innovative ICT solutions. ISB leads the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council.

The RoleAs the Manager of Application Services, you'll take charge of diverse functional areas and cutting-edge technologies, collaborating closely with a range of ICT professionals including business analysts, change managers, systems analysts, enterprise architects, and network analysts. This customer-facing role demands end-to-end accountability for developing and supporting service and application portfolios. Serving as the initial point of contact, you'll work closely with key operational business stakeholders to oversee programs and work strategically to achieve wider business goals.

This role requires robust change management and leadership skills as you lead the Application Services team in a rapidly evolving environment while ensuring the continuous delivery of high-quality business-as-usual services.
